19世紀末から内燃機関の自動車が登場し、自動車業界では、これまでに自動車技術のみならず、あらゆる分野で大きな偉業を成し遂げ、社会に貢献した方たちが現れました。
歴史は繰り返すと言われていますが、過去の功績は、新時代に多くの知識を与え、新しい歴史を作り出すことに重要な役割を果たしています。自動車殿堂を通して、過去から次世代へのメッセージを伝え、自動車業界が更に発展することを期待しています。

History repeats itself: Toward a new era in automotive industry

Internal combustion engine automobiles emerged in the late 19th century. Along with emerged technologies, a number of people have been recognized for remarkable achievements and contributions to the society not only in technology innovation but also in every aspect. We hear the phrase of “History repeats itself”. The past accomplishments bring knowledge to the next generation, and play significant roles for the creation of new history. The Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is the medium to deliver messages from the past to the new generation, and continuously supports the evolution of the automotive industry.
