Born in 1936

Global player in modernization of Japanese automobile industry

A global player in the modernization of Japan’s automobile industry, Mr. Nobuhiko Kawamoto combined courage and wisdom with an engineer’s spirit to proceed with the development of ‘next generation’ mobility. He was also aware of the need to protect the environment as a corporate responsibility, and made a remarkable contribution to the growth of the automotive industry. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Nobuhiko Kawamoto into the Hall of Fame.
