Industry leader of technology and corporate culture

Opening up a new field for automobiles with outstanding technology brought about by a distinctive corporate culture, Mr. Tadashi Kume nurtured this desirable concept, and in doing so made a significant contribution to both the industry and society in general. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Tadashi Kume into the Hall of Fame.

Kume designed the engine for this Isle of Man TT racer.

Kume acted as mechanic and team manager for Jack Brabham’s F2 championship campaign in 1966.
