Mr. Takeshi Nakatsuka

Born in 1926

Developed and applied own philosophy in automotive R&D and manufacturing

Practicing his own technological philosophy in automotive R&D and manufacuturing, Mr. Takeshi Nakatsuka developed a swing-axle suspension after analyzing vehicle behavior near the limit of cornering performance. He also established a speed record for diesel passenger cars, thus making a notable contribution to the growth of our automotive industry. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Takeshi Nakatsuka into the Hall of Fame.
