Mr. Taiichi Ohno

Born in 1912

Established a philosophy for efficient production system

Mr. Taiichi Ohno established automobile production systems that eliminated excesses, irregularities and effort through the detailed inspection of the real-world manufacturing scene, and provided a practical philosophy for efficient production. This philosophy duly influenced other industries in Japan, enhancing the quality of numerous Japanese products, and has also been adopted abroad. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Taiichi Ohno into the Hall of Fame.
