Mr. Eiji Toyoda

Born in 1913

Established the basis for Toyota to become a leading global automobile manufacturer

Mr. Eiji Toyoda studied mechanical engineering, and worked tirelessly to hone domestic motor manufacturing technology. In later years, his corporate managerial style helped propel the Toyota Motor Corporation into a leading position in the global automotive market. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Eiji Toyoda into the Hall of Fame.
