Born in 1917

Commander of post-war traffic police development

As the commander-in-chief of the road traffic police after the Second World War, Mr. Hitoshi Utsumi devoted his efforts to the legislation of advanced fundamental regulations in order to create a safe and smooth environment for road users. In recognition of his great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Hitoshi Utsumi into the Hall of Fame.
