Mr. Koichi Yano

Born in 1892

Creator of the oldest existing automobile of Japanese make "Arrow"

With the backing of Mr. Yoshitaro Murakami, Mr. Koichi Yano was the man behind Japan’s oldest automobile brand, the ‘Arrow’. Working hard to develop and fabricate parts, he succeeded in making a series of vehicles, with his engineering techniques conveyed to others as a principle for automotive production, especially in the creation of special purpose vehicles. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Koichi Yano into the Hall of Fame.
